Satpara Lake, one of the most picturesque lakes in Pakistan,
is an important lake in Skardu Valley which supplies water
for the town of Skardu.By and large, the lake offers ample
opportunity for trout fishing, boating and rowing.
Accessibility:
The lake is accessible by a 14km jeep road from Skardu which is accessible by a metalled road from Islamabad via KKH or by flight. On foot, the trek from Skardu to the lake takes about 2 hours. .
