Pakistan has four seasons: winter (December to March), Spring (April to June), Summer (June to September) and the monsoon season (July to September. The north has freezing winters with high levels of snowfall and fairly pleasant summers. The south has hot summers. In the south, summers (March to October) are hot with the highest rainfall on the hills. Karachi has little rain. High temperatures are moderated by a permanent breeze in Karachi. . The best time to visit southern Pakistan is between November and March, when the days are cool and clear. The best time to visit northern Pakistan is from April to October.

 Clothing Requirements:
Lightweights, with warmer clothing for upland areas in the winter. Rainwear is advised for the monsoon season.
